Sports to improve quality of life
The Mayor, Jose Sanchez, the Deputy for Youth, Sports and Training, Encarnacion Paez, and the Councillor for Social Affairs, Desirée Cortés, have presented at the Plenary Hall the program "Assisted Physical Activity" to improve the health of older people and adults who suffer some form of dependency. Those interested can register with the Registrar at the Town Hall entrance.
. According to the Mayor of Álora, Jose Sanchez, with this program, "we are going to improve the standard of living of many citizens of Álora," "consistent of the Dependency Act ."
Encarnacion Paez has thanked the availability and cooperation of the City Council Álora "so that this program can be made for our people", "it will last for 10 months and wil lbe carried out in collaboration with the Foundation Cihrma ". Encarnacion Paez has also affirmed "that Álora is one of the 11 towns where it will be launched."
Those interested can register with the Registrar General of the Municipality of Álora (Office of Martin). The program will begin shortly and will take place in one of the rooms of the Regional Centre for Drug Dependency.
It will work for ten months with a temporary three days a week and four hours of intervention. There will be different groups of between 12 and 15 people, which at the end of the program will provide for a total of between 120 and 150 people attending. Assisted physical activity will be conducted by qualified technicians and physiotherapists.
The aim is to increase the physical and mental health of people dependent and older people, achieve greater autonomy, increase personal relationships, enhance self-esteem, etc....
