Parade, lighting and dancing: Begins the Álora Fair 2008

We expect a few days of fun, music and reunions that you should not miss. After the official opening, the festival is open to all those who want to have some fun.

The fair parade left the Plaza baja and ended in the Avenida Cervantes through the back streets, la Fuente Arriba and la Veracruz. The Municipal Music band added the rhythm in this parade while the giant heads added a point of humour that characterizes them.

In la Fuente de la Manía, Jose Sanchez, Mayor of Álora; Jesus Mora, Festival Delegate and the government team from the municipality of Álora inaugurated the official lighting of the Álora Fair 2008. This will give us light until the next Sunday, the 10th of August, the day ending our great party.
 
The municipal stand opened its doors to the music of "Europe Milenium" and the local group "“En Espera ". The youth sports stand in San Paulino, with its go-gos, Djs, the best music… made our young people dance.
