Improving rural roads
Authorities of the City Council, Board of Andalusia, and council EGMASA visit the works of improvement and adaptation being made on several rural roads.
The Mayor, Jose Sanchez Moreno, the President of the Provincial Council, Salvador Pendón, the CEO of EGMASA, Juan Jesus Jimenez, the manager of the provincial EGMASA, Pedro Cortes; Delegate of Agriculture, Antonio Moreno, the deputy Intermunicipal Services, Christopher Guerrero, and the councillor and deputy, Jesus Mora, among others, have visited the improvement and adaptation works being carried out on the rural roads of Álora.
According to the Mayor of Álora, Jose Sanchez Moreno, "the objective of these works is to encourage communication between different areas scattered from the town, improving the quality of life of citizens."
This strong investment is financed from City Hall, the county council of Malaga, the Board of Andalusia and citizens. Specifically, the lane of El Sabinal has a budget of 212,822, € 57; Vega Morales of 193,476, € 67 and Alhaja Prieta, 906,668, 17 euros.
These actions are in addition to those already undertaken in Arroyo Cansino, Camino de Los Pilones, Cerro Pelado, Vega Redonda, Camino de la Atalaya, Camino del Olivo and los Hoyos de los Reyes.
"In recent years there has been invested more than 3 billion euros in the improvement and settlement of lanes, which represents a landmark investment for the benefit of citizens and those living in neighbouring rural areas of Álora," says the Mayor.
