ICAN - Inland Nursing Care Advice

ICAN are a brand new business Inland and in the coming weeks and months will be writing columns here giving advice and talking about the nursing situation inland.
Background on ICAN:
We would like to provide inland care and nursing to the local community.
When people find out that you are a nurse, they tend to ask you for your advice, on all sorts of health issues particularly when they don't speak spanish and are not registered with the local medico.
We decided to get together and start a nursing and care agency with the main emphasis on it being accessable to everyone and to provide relevent care to keep people safely in their own homes for longer, with possible nursing, home, respite and personal care.
The whole service is flexible and individual with your requirements and with your agreement.
No need is too small and we can provide as little or as much care as you need. Whether you live here, are on holiday or are visiting relatives, we are here to help you.
Jacci and I met and felt that that there was something lacking for people who lived inland. On the coast there are plenty of nursing agencies and nursing homes, but inland there doesnt appear to be any support services. We wanted to start an inland care and nursing agency, for the local community, to provide support and care in a friendly flexible approach.
