The Band of Cornets and Drums of Amor and San Juan of our people marched through the official route on Easter Monday with the brotherhood the Christ of the gypsies de Malaga.
The Band of Cornets and Drums of Love and San Juan of our people marched on Holy Monday with the confraternity of the Holy Christ of the Gypsies of Malaga through the official route of the streets of Malaga.
It was many years since a perota band participated in the Easter Malaga in its official itinerary, and the truth is that the experience could have not been better. The performance of the band was a complete success and ovations of applause occurred over the entire route, on marches such as Moon Triana, Expiry, Soleá, Christ's love and Saeta, among others.
After the performance, managers of the cofraternity gave their congratulations to the band and were booked for the coming year. There were moments during the tour where our countrymen were especially cheered as the Departure of the procession, the rostrum of the Poor, Alameda Principal and the confinement, where there was loud applause to the boxes and solo cornets of the band.
The newspapers of the province, such as SUR or La Opinion de Malaga, have echoed this band, and the reviews received by the band specialists is very good and positive. During the tour the various televisions as Canal Sur, Localia or Malaga TV, among others, recorded live the band; even other brotherhoods became interested in them for future recruitment.
It is a privilege that these guys carry the flag and on the sleeve of their new uniform the name of our town throught the capital, as they did on Easter Monday, as the public wondered: ' 'Where did they come from, this band ? "- From Alora lady, because they do that well'
The band's contracts for the Holy Week are: Palm Sunday to The Pollinica of Alora; Easter Monday at The Christ of Gypsies ofMalaga; Holy Thursday at St. John the Evangelist and the Virgin of Love; Good Friday in Humilladero and Resurreción Sunday at Risen Jesus in Guaro.
Each and every one of the members of the band wore a black ribbon on their coat and their heart in celebration and remembrance of their colleague and friend Ana Mari Calderon, to whom this year they dedicated each and every one of their marches and parades, and who surely enjoyed them from the sky as she always did, the success of he band which will always be hers.
Congratulations, guys for your dedication, commitment and good art, and for taking the name of Alora so high!
