Up until next Sunday May 6, will be open the Peoples Fair, organised by the county council of Malaga.

Álora is another year at the Peoples Fair organized by the Department of Resources and Local Initiatives of the county council of Malaga. Our people stand part of the GDR Guadalhorce. Under the slogan "Guadalhorce, Breathe," the peoples of the region offer the visitor wonders, catalogues, etc ... So that visitors leave with a great taste in their mouth. That flavour is represented by our most important element: the orchard, with several farmers who are dedicated to wrap juicy oranges to give to all those who want to know our people.

The opening of this important event was attended by the Mayor of Álora, Jose Sanchez; Festival Councillor and Provincial Area Deputy which organizes the fair, Jesus Mora, the Councillor for Culture, Sonia Ramos, the Councillor for Education, Ines Torres; Councillor for Health, Antonia Rodriguez, and the Councillor for Agriculture, Alfonso Torres.

More than 300 citizens and neighbours went to the opening, thanks to the totally free bus by the City Council and the county council.

The opening acts were honoured by Miguel de Molina, in the presence of singers program Canal Sur, ’Se llama Copla’: Antonio Cortez and Maria Lozano.
